A Psychedelic Spectacle

Ever seen a painting and wished for it to be real? Ever seen something real which resembled a painting?

Well, the answer to these questions is very simple. For once, get out of the virtual world that you are compelled to be a part of in these tough times and just witness one sunset.

It starts off insipid and austere; just an unblemished light azure.

If there is a fortunate stroke of serendipity then you may see bushes of flocculent clouds permeating the wild blue yonder.

Just like an unpigmented canvas sedentary and peacefully sits inviting no attention so does the bland sky.

Eventually, as the clock strikes sunset time, in the blink of an eye, the razzmatazz of the sky lords begins.

The cerulean sky gets inundated with blotches of motley hues.

First, mighty magenta pervades amalgamated with the hitherto bumblebee yellow.

Following this to bid the sun a good farewell, amber and blaze show their obedient presence.

As the intensity of the warmth mitigates and the circle turns into a semi-circle, one would expect the magnitude of yellow to lessen.

But on most days the reverse happens.

As the sun leaves, making its mark until the next time it shows up, it turns vibrant tangerine.

At the culmination of every sunset experience, there is something that I like to call the “color lottery.”

Every day is distinct, making every sunset unique and noteworthy in its way.

Just like every person on this planet has a diverse assortment of personality traits so does every sunset.

Every single day an unusual fresh compendium of tints synchronizes flawlessly.

You can never expect to see the same sunset ever again.

You can never expect to feel the same sunset again.

This is the time where you see a painting come alive, where you are enthralled in the surreality of nature.

So go out sometime and just be mindfully present in the moment.

Explore and relish the little things in life because looking back you will realize they were the big things in life.
